Dear Cyberwhores and Cybertricks and Cyberpimps and Cybersquares,

My name is Bashful. I've been visiting the legal Nevada brothels since May, 1986, and have been writing about them on the Internet since November, 1994. Every year since July, 1997, there has been an annual meeting in the Reno / Carson City area of people interested in this industry, and it is perhaps time to start having Las Vegas / Pahrump / Nye County annual meetings as well. This web page is my attempt to get just such a meeting, NYE#1, going during Friday, October 25 through Saturday, October 26, 2002.

Later this year (2002) it would be nice to have a similar meeting which would primarily happen in Pahrump, Nevada, where The Chicken Ranch and Sheri's Ranch are located. I propose a two-day meeting, Friday, October 25 through Saturday, October 26, 2002, which would cover Friday late-afternoon through late night Saturday. I asked for some feedback on when this meeting should happen and almost all the feedback indicated that October 25 - 26, 2002, were the preferred dates. So be it.

Where is the official lodging for NYE#1?

There is no "official" lodging for this event. Some people may choose to stay in Las Vegas, and at least one individual has decided to stay in Beatty, but most attendees will probably stay in Pahrump.

I thought I'd let you know what my Pahrump lodging deal was, which I posted, on September 14 as :

"Just made my reservation for two nights at the Best Western Pahrump Station at 1101 South Highway 160 in Pahrump, telephone number (775) 727-5100. Holly took my reservation, and I got, with my AAA member discount, a King-sized bed, single occupancy, non-smoking, for $54.90 a night. That was for the nights of Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26, 2002, and they serve Belgian waffles in the morning."

Also, Sportsman informs me that the normal total amount (including tax and local tourist fees) for the two nights of October 25 and 26 at the Pahrump Saddle West Hotel / Casino / Convention Center is $128.62, but if you inbox him on the nvbrothels message board or e-mail him at "walkingman64@excite.com" then he will tell you how to get the corporate rate for a total of $112.48 for those same two nights.

EVENT #1 :

The first planned event for NYE#1 is for people to meet on Friday afternoon, October 25, 2002, at 4:00 PM in the Leghorn Bar at The Chicken Ranch, and then at 4:30 PM in the Valley Inn Bar at Sheri's Ranch. Both ranches are next to each other at the end of Homestead Road in Pahrump, Nevada.

This event is an opportunity for early arrivals to meet and to do business with the lovely ladies of these two establishments if they then so choose.

EVENT #2 :

The second planned event for NYE#1 is dinner at the buffet at Terrible's Lakeside Casino on Homestead Road (not to be confused with Terrible's Town Casino near downtown Pahrump on Highway 160), which you pass on the way to the Chicken Ranch and Sheri's Ranch. It is only a few miles north of those two brothels. We will meet at this dinner buffet from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday night, no reservations required.

You can identify our group by identifying me, Bashful. I am a white Caucasian male, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 43 years old, hefty, with wire-rim glasses and a beard and brown hair, and I'll be wearing Levi blue-jeans and red Converse sneakers and my trade-mark red suspenders.

EVENT #3 :

The third planned event for NYE#1 is for further Friday night meetings at Sheri's Ranch and The Chicken Ranch where late arrivals can catch up with us.

Sheri's Ranch, according to Redd, will start their NYE#1 party at 7:00 PM. The Chicken Ranch, according to madam Debbie, will be hosting a cocktail party for the NYE#1 group starting at 8:00 PM. That is all I know about what these two establishments have planned. Neither has given me details about what kind of parties they are planning, nor how long they will last. It is expected that after 8:00 PM the two parties will be concurrent and people will be able to drift back-and-forth between the two brothel parties as they see fit, which will be easy to do since the two brothels are only a few hundred feet apart.

Also, if you so desire to take a lady back to her room during this event, then I'm sure nobody will object.

EVENT #4 :

As for the next day, Saturday, October 26, 2002, I propose a road trip to visit several of the other brothels. This will make for a very long event for those who choose to participate, although you can pick whatever sub-events you like among the offerings. The following table lists my proposed itinerary :

Those brothels are : The Cottontail Ranch, The Shady Lady Ranch, Angel's Lady's Ranch, The Cherry Patch Ranch #2, and The Cherry Patch Ranch #1.

After sleeping in late and getting a late breakfast where-ever you like in Pahrump, we would then meet in the parking lot of Terrible's Town Casino at 771 South Frontage Road in Pahrump on Highway 160. You can't miss the place, it is so huge (NOTE : Please don't confuse Terrible's Town Casino with Terrible's Lakeside Casino - they are at different locations in Pahrump). At 10:30 AM we would then leave for Angel's Lady's Ranch where we'll have lunch (starting at 12:10 PM) until those of us who want to shove off for The Cottontail Ranch can go at 1:00 PM. Once at The Cottontail Ranch we can start the visiting and then on our way back to Pahrump we will stop at all the brothels along the way. For those of you who want to, you are welcome to remain at Angel's Ladies Ranch after lunch and forego the side trips to The Cottontail Ranch and The Shady Lady Ranch, or only go to The Shady Lady Ranch if you like.

This schedule makes for a long day, but is not pushy. I have consulted my personal notes for how long it took me to drive between these brothels, and used MapQuest and MapBlast to estimate travel times, and all those travel times listed in the above table can easily be met and will probably get you to the next brothel ahead of time, with time to spare for restroom pitstops along the way.

This is merely a proposed road trip - it should be obvious that only those interested in it will go on it, leaving others to do as they wish. Also, some readers may only want to go as far as The Shady Lady Ranch, or only as far as Angel's Lady's Ranch, or they may not want to stop off at the two Cherry Patch ranches, or maybe they will want to show up at the ranches at times other than what I've scheduled. Lots of other options exist.

EVENT #5 :

We should be back in Pahrump by 8:15 PM on Saturday evening for the last event of NYE#1. The night is still young! Some of us may want to drop by our hotel rooms to freshen up and then have a late evening dinner somewhere in Pahrump, followed by early night visits to The Chicken Ranch and Sheri's Ranch. Who knows how long we'll be up? 2:00 AM Sunday morning?
