My name is Bashful. I've been visiting the legal Nevada brothels since May, 1986, and have been writing about them on the Internet since November, 1994. Every year since July, 1997, there has been an annual meeting in the Reno / Carson City area of people interested in this industry, and the first Las Vegas / Pahrump City / Nye County meeting was held on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26, 2002. This web page is for the second such meeting, NYE#2, going during Friday, October 31 through Saturday, November 01, 2003.

The following are questions about NYE#2 and their answers :

1. When is NYE#2?

NYE#2 will happen Friday, October 31 through Saturday, November 01, 2003.

2. Where is NYE#2?

NYE#2 will happen in Nye County, Nevada, in the Pahrump and Beatty areas.

3. Where is the official lodging for NYE#2?

There is no "official" lodging for this event. Some people may choose to stay in Las Vegas, but most attendees will probably stay in Pahrump.

I will be staying at the Best Western Pahrump Station at 1101 South Highway 160 in Pahrump, telephone number (775) 727-5100. Cathy took my reservation, and I got, with my AAA member discount, a King-sized bed, single occupancy, non-smoking, for $63.90 a night for the nights of Friday, October 31 and Saturday, November 01, 2003.

I made my reservations even though I am uncertain if I can make NYE#2. My employer has notified me that I may have to make an extended business trip of from two to four weeks duration, probably in October. I made my reservations in case I can make NYE#2, but if I can't make NYE#2 then please go ahead and have fun without me. NYE#2 will not be canceled just because I can't go, if in fact I can not go.

4. What will happen on Friday?

If I can make NYE#2 then I will be at the Leghorn Bar at The Chicken Ranch from 4:00 to 4:30 PM, and at the Valley Inn Bar at Sheri's Ranch from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM. We can then do whatever we want, as a group or as individuals.

The Resort at Sheri's Ranch will host a cocktail party from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Friday, October 31, as part of the NYE#2 Convention.

Laraine has indicated that there will be gift packages for each of the internet guys (and gals) attending that evening. A couple tickets for free drinks will be in that package, which will include some surprise stuff.

There will be a food spread for y'all to enjoy that evening.

As for the ladies who will be present that weekend, that has yet to be determined. My suggestion would be to check with your favorite lady (ladies) and ask them if their rotation includes their being present. October 31 is Nevada Day, as well as Halloween.

5. What will happen on Saturday?

Last year there was a road trip to Angel's Lady's Ranch and to The Shady Lady Ranch on the NYE#1 Saturday. We will have another such road trip on the NYE#2 Saturday.

After sleeping in late and getting a late breakfast where-ever you like in Pahrump, we would then meet in the parking lot of Terrible's Town Casino at 771 South Frontage Road in Pahrump on Highway 160. You can't miss the place, it is so huge (NOTE : Please don't confuse Terrible's Town Casino with Terrible's Lakeside Casino - they are at different locations in Pahrump). At 11:30 AM we would then leave for The Shady Lady Ranch where we'll have lunch starting at 1:30 PM.

Two hours later, if the attendees wish, we can then leave The Shady Lady Ranch at 3:30 PM and drive the half-hour trip to Angel's Lady's Ranch, arriving at 4:00 PM. We will stay there for an hour and then leave at 5:00 PM for return to Pahrump. This will put us back in Pahrump by 6:30 PM which will leave sufficient time to then drive to the end of Homestead Road for the next event which starts at 7:00 PM.

Also in the gift package will be a couple tickets for drinks, and some other special things.

Debbie is looking forward to all of you guys (and gals) who will participate in Nye 2.

I've not heard from either Angel's Lady's Ranch or the two Joe Richards brothels about anything they might be interested in doing during NYE#2. If you are an owner or manager or working girl at any of those three brothels and are interested in doing something for NYE#2, then please e-mail me at maquinista@mad.scientist.com and let me know about it and I'll post it here for everyone to read.

Finally, if any of the attendees wish to stop off at either or both of the Joe Richards brothels after we leave Angel's Lady's Ranch, then please feel free to do so. However, unless several guys who are going on this road trip and/or those brothels ask me to, I will not schedule a definite time for visiting them, primarily because last year there was no expressed interest in such visits and time spent at them will result in people being late for the start of the 7:00 PM Chicken Ranch event.

6. Will anything else happen during NYE#2?

Not that I know of. If you know of any definite plans (and not just idle speculation) then please let me know so that I can inform everyone here of those plans.
