9.20.240 Time limit for filing application for license.

A. Any person who currently operates a house of prostitution in the county, must apply for relicensing or licensing as provided in this chapter, and must conform to the provisions of this chapter from and after the effective date of enactment of the ordinance codified in this chapter.

B. Any person seeking to operate a house of prostitution in the county, must apply for licensing as provided in this chapter, and must conform to the provisions of this chapter from and after the effective date of enactment of the ordinance codified in this chapter.

C. Upon filing the application mentioned in subsection A of this section, persons currently operating a house of prostitution may be granted a temporary permit, (effective as of the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter) for a reasonable length of time to allow processing of the application ; provided however, that all fees are paid as required by this chapter.

D. Permittees and their employees shall be subject to all requirements in this chapter immediately upon the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter. No vested rights inure to a permitee.

E. If the ordinance codified in this chapter becomes effective during a calendar quarter, permittees may be given credit for fees heretofore paid. (Ord. 129 (part), 1988)
