Per the definition of "personal awards", I ("Speed Racer") am the sole person responsible for determining and establishing the categories, criteria, and eligibility for these awards, making all nominations for them, and bestowing all such honors associated therewith. I am influenced by the opinions of other Cyber Whoremongers (CWMers) whom I've met and/or with whom I've corresponded, but I alone make all final decisions. In addition, in years where I have not made it out to Nevada myself, I may solicit public input in order to obtain qualified nominees. In an effort to better distinguish these personal awards from the well-known and publicly voted-upon CWMC Awards, all abbreviations of the various categories of my awards always have, and will continue to contain the prefix "SR-".
Furthermore, these awards are not endorsed by, or affiliated in any way, with S-I-N or Interested_bystander, who merely host this page as a courtesy to their author. Please see the Legal Disclaimer section at the bottom of this page for additional information.
The Speed Racer LPIN Award individual category nominations have been published at varying times from their inception until 2010. The recipients and Hall of Fame inductees had also traditionally been announced at and/or concurrent with the CWMC Banquet each July. Beginning in 2010, the nominations for these awards began being announced on or around New Year's Day with the individual recipients and inductees being revealed approximately 2-3 weeks later duruing CWMC's Winterfest event (in mid-January).

The recipient of the 2012 SR-BOY award for calendar year 2011 is...
This year the SR-BOY field was quite competitive, even more so than usual. Each of the nominated houses can make a compelling argument as to why it should be recognized with this award. In 2011 the Chicken Ranch totally rebuilt and expanded their Leghorn Bar, resulting in one of the nicest such facilities in LPIN (along with maintaining their always impressive lineup of top-notch ladies as well as continuing the impeccible management of their house). The Dovetail Ranch up in Carlin quietly became one of the best small brothels in the state this past year, recruiting several outstanding and popular ladies, while the Love Ranch South continued their ongoing transformation into a must-visit destination in the southern Nevada region. But my final decision came down to the two remaining brothels: The Love Ranch North and Sheri's Ranch. Both of these houses had large lineups of impressive beauties throughout 2011. They each have stepped up thier game in recent years, especially so during this past 12 months. And they both have weathered the still-soft economy to remain very popular destinations with LPIN aficinados. So in the end, it came down to which house I felt consistently offered the best overall value for their customers last year. In spite of the fact that Sheri's has come a long way in this particular regard, for the year 2011 I had to give the edge to the Love Ranch North.
So congratulations to everyone at the Love Ranch North, and to each of the other four fine nominees in this category.

Every year there is a large new crop of ladies who turn out in LPIN. And every year there are a select few of these beauties who rapidly become successful and popular with their clients and fellow courtesans alike. This past year was no exception. Each of the ladies nominated for 2011 quickly rose to the top of their class in a very competitive field (so much so that I had to omit a few other worthy candidates). This was perhaps the toughest decision of all the categories this year. But in the end, one nominee stood out. This Brazilian bombshell was a multiple recipient of the title "Lover of the Month" at her house, and it now gives me great pleasure to announce that Jade Capri of the Love Ranch North is also the 2012 recipient of the Speed Racer LPIN Rookie Courtesan of the Year award!

The recipient of the 2012 SR-AFSCOY award for calendar year 2011 is...
All of the nominees in this category have appeared in commercially available adult films/videos at some point in their careers. All were quality LPIN regulars in 2011. This year, the overall number of such ladies appearing at Nevada's cathouses seemed to fall significantly. However, these five ladies (along with a few others who are now ineligible for this award because they've been inducted into the Courtesan Division of my LPIN Hall of Fame) are all outstanding embodiments of the porn star experience. But one lady in particular stood out, proving once and for all that "age ain't nuthin' but a number". As such I'm very pleased to announce Sonja (and her alter ego "Trinity Powers") of the Dovetail Ranch as my 2012 Speed Racer LPIN Adult Film Star Courtesan of the Year!

As is always the case in this category, it was another very tough decision once again this year. All of the nominees are extremely worthy of this honor and I've gone back and forth several times before making up my mind. Most have been in LPIN for several years now. All are beautiful, charming, and skilled. But one lady stood out in the end. So I'm very pleased to announce that Destini of Sheri's Ranch is my choice for the 2012 Speed Racer LPIN Courtesan of the Year award!

Speed Racer's LPIN Hall of Fame - Courtesan Division (view SRLHOF-CD description/criteria)
I first met the lady whose stage name was Andrea at the Chicken Ranch in March of 2002. Her stunning beauty was what first caught my attention, but her sparkling personality was what sealed the deal. After a fantastic party, I simply couldn't stop thinking (and dreaming) about this sexy latina stunner. Andrea was the recipient of my Speed Racer Courtesan of the Year (SR-COY) award in 2004. While at the CR, Andrea became friends with Jade, my 2006 SR-COY and a 2009 inductee into this Hall of Fame. These two eventually started splitting their time between the CR and the Wild Horse up north, and it was there in Patrick where Andrea eventually retired and began working as a cashier (under the name Michelle). Eventually, she worked her way up to floor manager at the Wild Horse. Though it was sad to see her no longer available as a courtesan, it was great to still have her involved in LPIN for a few more years. Now, she's totally out of the business but I have little doubt that Michelle is off somewhere leading a very successful, happy life. Her beauty, grace, charm, and intelligence - not to mention her off-the-charts parties - will always be remembered and treasured. So it is with very great pleasure that I announce that Andrea (Michelle) is now the inductee from the class of 2012 into the Courtesan Division of Speed Racer's LPIN Hall of Fame.

Speed Racer's LPIN Hall of Fame - General Division (view SRLHOF-GD description/criteria)
Sadly, this is the first posthumous induction into this Hall of Fame. One of the "founding fathers" of our online LPIN community, brother Curious departed this world way too soon during this past year. His contributions are far too numerous to list here, but suffice it to say he was a friend to all who knew him and that he was always willing to share his expertise on the subject of legal brothels with anyone willing to listen. He will be greatly missed by all.
So, in recognition of his immeasurable contributions to LPIN, and as a memorial to the great person he was, I am happy to announce that Curious is hereby inducted as a member of the class of 2012 into the General Division of Speed Racer's LPIN Hall of Fame.
Congratulations, my late friend, and my sincerest apologies that this well-deserved honor wasn't bestowed while you were still with us!

Category: Speed Racer's LPIN Brothel of the Year (SR-BOY)
First established: in July 2003 for calendar year 2002.
Eligibility period: prior calendar year.
Criteria: Must have been a licensed, legal brothel in the state of Nevada operating during all or part of the eligibility period, and whose ownership and management I felt went above and beyond the call of duty in order to improve on and/or maintain the highest standards for both their customers and courtesans alike.

Category: Speed Racer's LPIN Rookie (Courtesan) of the Year (SR-ROY)
First established: in January 2010 for calendar year 2009.
Eligibility period:Any working lady who was new to LPIN (i.e., "turned out") at some point during the first three quarters of the previous calendar year, or in the final quarter of the year before that, is eligible for this award. This time period, adjusted from "prior calendar year" beginning with the 2012 award, allows for better recognition and evaluation of those ladies who begin their LPIN careers late in any given calendar year (since the nominations are made at the end of the calendar year and the award recipient is named shortly thereafter).
Criteria: A working lady who was new to LPIN (i.e., "turned out") during the eligibility period, whom I may or may not have personally met (or partied with yet), but whom I feel has quickly established a reputation that merits consideration for the very special title of LPIN Rookie (Courtesan) of the Year. The house(s) listed for each nominee is where the lady spent the majority of her time during the eligibility period (but may not necessarily be where she turned out or currently works, if she even remains active within LPIN).

Category: Speed Racer's LPIN Adult Film Star Courtesan of the Year (SR-AFSCOY)
First established: in July 2008 for calendar year 2007.
Eligibility period: prior calendar year.
Criteria: An adult film star - defined here as someone who has appeared in at least two widely distributed, commercially available adult films (or videos) which can be found, or are eligible to be listed, on the Internet Adult Film Database (IAFD) - who also has worked as a legal courtesan in a Nevada brothel at some time during the eligibility period and who is not only outstanding in her sexual abilities as demonstrated in front of the camera, but who is also equally as impresive in person and during sessions with her fans at an LPIN brothel. Nominees in this category are also eligible, and may be nominated, for the regular Courtesan of the Year (SR-COY) honors covering the same eligibility period only if they appeared within LPIN on a regular basis during that period (i.e., more than just occassional appearances or limited engagements). Any ladies previously inducted into Speed Racer's LPIN Hall of Fame - Courtesan Division (SRLHOF-CD) are ineligible for both this award and for the regular Courtesan of the Year (SR-COY) award in all years subsequent to their induction therein.

Category: Speed Racer's (Overall) LPIN Courtesan of the Year (SR-COY)
First established: in July 2003 for calendar year 2002.
Eligibility period: prior calendar year.
Criteria: A working lady who was active in LPIN at some point during the eligibility period, whom I have personally met and/or corresponded with at some point in time (but not necessarily partied with), whom I have not yet enshrined in the Speed Racer LPIN Hall of Fame's Courtesan Division (see separate award category below), and whom I feel is worthy of the very special title, Courtesan of the Year, for that eligibility period. The house(s) listed for each nominee is where the lady spent the majority of her time during that eligibility period (but may not necessarily be where she currently works, if she even remains active within LPIN).

Category: Speed Racer's LPIN Cyber Whoremonger of the Year (SR-CWMOY)
First established: in 2003 for calendar year 2002.
Eligibility period: prior calendar year.
Criteria: A patron of LPIN whom I respect (though whose opinions I may not always agree with, on occasion) and feel deserves recognition for their contributions to the online CWM community during the eligibility period. This does not necessarily mean they that have actually partied in a legal Nedada brothel during said eligibility period, just that they have contributed to the community in some way during that twelve months. Members of the Speed Racer LPIN Hall of Fame's General Division (see separate award category below) are not eligible for this award.

Category: Speed Racer's LPIN Hall of Fame
Speed Racer's LPIN Hall of Fame has two separate divisions, one for working ladies (Courtesan Division) and another to honor other LPIN-related people, places, and things (General Division). The Hall of Fame enshrinees comprising each year's Class had traditionally been announced at and/or concurrent with the CWMC Banquet each July. Beginning in 2010, they started being announced during CWMC's Winterfest in mid-January. The criteria for each are listed below. A complete list of past Hall of Fame inductees, along with those so honored this year, may be found in this table located elsewhere on this page.
Criteria for Speed Racer's LPIN Hall of Fame - Courtesan Division (SR-LHOF-CD):
Current or retired LPIN courtesans whom I have personally known to have gone well above and beyond the call of duty and who have earned my respect, admiration, and affection. This category is usually limited to one inductee per year. The house(s) listed for each lady is where she spent the majority of her time during the calendar year prior to her year of induction or where she last worked in LPIN (but is often not where she currently works, if she even remains active within LPIN, independent escorting, and/or adult entertainment). Courtesans honored in this Hall of Fame will no longer be eligible for Speed Racer's LPIN Courtesan of the Year and/or Adult Film Star Courtesan of the Year (SR-AFSCOY) awards in future years.
Criteria for Speed Racer's LPIN Hall of Fame - General Division (SR-LHOF-GD):
People, brothels, websites, or other entities whom I feel merit my special recognition for their contributions to the world of Legal Prostitution in Nevada, to my personal involvement within that realm, and to the cyber whoremonger community as a whole. There can be multiple honorees in any given year and the year of induction does not imply accomplishments solely in the previous calendar year. The enshrinement of a brothel does not prevent its being eligible in current or future years for the Speed Racer LPIN Brothel of the Year (SR-BOY) award; however, individuals honored in this Hall of Fame will be ineligible for the Speed Racer LPIN Cyber Whoremonger of the Year (SR-CWMOY) award in subsequent years.
